DBS maintain a strict security and disposal policy. DBS will make every effort to maintain the security and confidentiality of personal identifiable information such as SSN's and DOB's by securely storing, transmitting and disposing the information. Only authorized personnel of DBS will have access to such information.

We follow the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) with in the state of California, which states: ..."No consumer may bring any action or proceeding in the nature of defamation, invasion of privacy, or negligence with respect to the reporting of information against any consumer reporting agency, any USER of the information or any person who furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency"..."except as to false information furnished with malice or willful intent to injure such consumers." {FCRA Section 61}
Pursuant to the FCRA, we must maintain any reports or copies of information received in conjunction with services rendered for a period of five years. Information is subsequently destroyed either electronically or mechanically.DBS will make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of the information we deliver. Since we relay on the public information contained in government records, which are compiled, mainted and indexed by the government agencies (courts), we can not independently verify the completeness or accuracy of the information reported.
